THE RACES
Hogback GRVL — goldpacked limestone gravel roads, lush valleys, and a Midwest racing experience you’ll look forward to each weekend until it arrives.
Your pick of the Whole Hog (70-mile course) or the Half-Hog (40-mile course) both designed to test your limits, or to let you enjoy the scenery with the gravel family, Hogback GRVL will meet you head on. There are no B-level roads on the course — all dust, no mud. Our event will be live-streamed for those who prefer supporting others over sweating on a bike, and for those to watch after the race. Additionally, chip-timing will be utilized for accurate time tracking. When the limestone dust settles for the day, we’ll celebrate the winners, the finishers, the PR’s and the stories at Cumming Tap, in Cumming, IA — aka “The Afterparty.”
*The tentative 2024 Hogback GRVL course files are located here. Please note, the course may be subject to change up until the race date so we encourage you to download the very latest version of the course the day before the race.
THE AFTERPARTY
No great bike race ever ended with “let’s go home” — hence why we’re celebrating together.
Every great event — especially those requiring participants to work hard and get dirty — should have a kick-ass afterparty. A time to celebrate, a time to look back and take in what was just accomplished via our live-streaming team, and to discuss the future of biking with your newfound community of gravel-racing enthusiasts. Following our big race, we’ll enjoy drinks, grub, and more at Cumming Tap in Cumming — where the race begins and ends. All are welcome, regardless of race participation or age.
THE SPONSORS
Our sponsors rock — and some are racing, too. Makes for a hell of an event when those that put on the event also get to enjoy the hard work in action.
